Managed IT Services
Ongoing Care for Your Business IT
A monthly managed-services agreement puts monitoring, threat protection, cloud backup and support tools in place before the next problem occurs.
Why Consider Managed IT?
An unnoticed security alert, a full server drive or missing backups can become a business interruption. Managed IT puts monitoring and protection in place to help identify these problems before staff lose access to the systems or information they need.
Managed services provide ongoing visibility and protection, along with a familiar place for staff to request help. Managed services cannot prevent every fault or security threat. They provide an ongoing support relationship, a record of your systems and a process for investigating issues instead of treating every call as an isolated problem.
Our Standard Monthly Package
The following services are available to every managed-services client. This is our standard package, not a menu of individual components.
Managed Threat Detection & Response
Threat detection monitors covered devices and cloud accounts for suspicious activity. Security alerts are investigated to identify threats and guide a response when action is needed.
Cloud Productivity Backups
Backup and recovery for supported Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace data, including email and cloud files. Long-term backups provide recovery options beyond the platform’s built-in retention.
Remote-Support Access
Secure remote access allows us to investigate and resolve many problems without an onsite visit. Support inclusions and labour charges are set out in your agreement.
Helpdesk & Support Requests
Staff can submit requests and follow their progress through the helpdesk. Ticket history gives our team context for troubleshooting and helps keep track of outstanding work.
Active System Monitoring
Monitoring checks system health, resource usage, disk capacity and system events. Alerts help identify problems that need investigation and inform equipment maintenance or replacement recommendations.
Asset & Inventory Management and Documentation
We maintain an inventory of covered equipment and document key system information. These records support troubleshooting, equipment planning and authorized access to the information needed to manage your IT.
Support and After-Hours Assistance
Managed-services clients receive priority response and discounted support rates. Your proposal outlines included support and billing arrangements. Remote and onsite assistance are available according to the work required.
Security monitoring runs continuously. Our regular support hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with after-hours assistance available to all clients at after-hours rates.
Optional Workstation and Server Backups
Workstation and server backups can be added for an additional monthly cost. The solution may use local storage, cloud storage or a combination of both, depending on your infrastructure and recovery requirements. These backups are separate from the cloud productivity backups in the standard package. We assess the systems and information you need protected and agree on a backup strategy and recovery scope.
We also manage firewalls, endpoint protection, email security, multi-factor authentication and Microsoft 365 security. The work required for your environment is discussed during assessment and documented in your proposal.
